We had a great tour in May, taking in the BAA Fest in Bellingham, Northumberland (what a friendly festival!) The intriguing Sweeps Festival in Rochester – a first for us to see chimney sweeps on uni-cycles! Then we enjoyed a string of dates in the South West; particular highlights were the “Square and Compass” in Worth Matravers, (where we were treated to some great spoons playing, and the fantastic audience wouldn’t let us go until we’d played “Salty Dog” 3 times! ) Had a great time in Frome, at The Olive Tree and the Cornerhouse, and enjoyed ourselves at The Ritz Acoustic Club, Burnham-On-Sea. Plus another very enjoyable gig at The Bell Inn, Bath; all great venues – and we met some lovely people at all of our gigs – and we hope to be touring in the South West again in the near future.
