Scotland! We played The CatStrand New Galloway, Dunoon Burgh Hall and Craignish Village Hall (https://www.craignish.org.uk/cvh/). At each venue we gave a workshop and a concert; and at CatStrand in New Galloway we really enjoyed playing with our friend and musician, songwriter, author, poet, broadcaster Alan McClure.
Thanks to BBC Radio Scotland “Travelling Folk “Show for the shout out!
We had such a great time on this tour! Very receptive audiences and fantastic venues. We enjoyed collaborating with Alan McClure (See photo), and he also reviewed our concert.
Here’s what he said:
“Mambo Jambo electrified a packed house at The CatStrand, New Galloway. The audiences were treated to a head-spinning tour..from Cuba to France to Rumania to New Orleans, the eclectic programme unified by the sheer delight the duo take in all their musical adventures. With over a dozen instruments at their disposal and a seemingly effortless talent in all of them, Pete and Frankie had the audience bouncing in their seats and hollering for more! An unforgetable night out.” Alan McClure
Here we are just outside Craignish Village Hall; what a beautiful spot! The workshop was very lively and fun! And the concert also!
“Thanks for such a fun evening!” Craignish Village Hall Manager
