The Festival St Patrick in Cotes D’Armor in Brittany (It’s actually the week after St Patricks Day). It was a fantastic festival, and we really enjoyed seeing old friends, meeting new musicians, and the whole atmosphere!
We had a ‘creative break’ while we were in Brittany and went off to the Ile De Groix with an instrument each, and here we are on the dramatic cliffs of the Western tip of the island, (which is called Pen Men) and here we got together our new piece, which we thought we had to call Pen Men! We played it at the festival, and will be playing it at some of our next gigs and concerts. You can see that we were quite transported by the setting in this photo:
