We’re just recently back from Portugal; a music festival & conference in Braga, & playing in Lisbon at a Fado Venue. It was a really varied Festival/Conference ‘Mapping the Atlantic/Square Festival, Braga ’25’. The international bands, gigs & concerts were really varied with all sorts of genres from acoustic roots, jazzy, world, singer songwriters, electronica, traditional mixed with beats, rap, hard-core, Screamo, & more! A real eye-opener! In the conference we got to talk to someone from a #UNESCO #CityOfMusic & ask about the status, as Hull is in the process of applying to become a UNESCO Creative City Of Music.
Followed by a trip to Lisbon where we played at a great Fado Venue ‘FamaD’ Alfama’! What a treat!
