“Please pass on to Pete and Frankie that the children in F2 thoroughly enjoyed the flamenco workshops. We weren’t entirely sure what to expect but were delighted with how engaged the children were. They loved the musical instruments and seeing and hearing them being played. The flamenco steps were broken down into really manageable stages so every child had a sense of achievement that they were able to dance. It was lovely that Pete and Frankie included some simple Spanish phrases and some knowledge such as the names of the instruments etc. The children were mesmerised by the whole thing and it was lovely to be part of the workshop. Lots of children went home talking about it and told their parents they had been flamingo dancing! Some remembered the steps and demonstrated these at home too”. Foundation teacher
