Loved it!” Yr 5 \n\n\n“That was amazing!” Yr 1 teacher \n\n\n“Please pass on to Pete and Frankie that the children in F2 thoroughly enjoyed the flamenco workshops. We weren’t entirely sure what to expect but were delighted with how engaged the children were. They loved the musical instruments and seeing and hearing them being played. The flamenco steps were broken down into really manageable stages so every child had a sense of achievement that they were able to dance. It was lovely that Pete and Frankie included some simple Spanish phrases and some knowledge such as the names of the instruments etc. The children were mesmerised by the whole thing and it was lovely to be part of the workshop. Lots of children went home talking about it and told their parents they had been flamingo dancing! Some remembered the steps and demonstrated these at home too”.  Foundation teacher \n\n\n‘Mambo Jambo made such a difference ot our Spanish Day celebrations. All the children had a workshop from foundation to yr 6 & every one of them thoroughly enjoyed learning about the flamenco traditions. A fabulous musical treat is in store wherever they roll up\, their tour bus packed to the brim with instruments! \nPete and Frankie have appeared on various BBC Local Radio shows\, BBC Look North\, the BBC Symphony for Yorkshire and MTV Asia\, and have been gathering admirers at shows and festivals the length and breadth of the country on their travels.
