We’ve just been playing at “The Globe” in Hay-On-Wye, followed by St.Donats Arts Centre, South Wales. Both gigs were great fun, and really interesting venues; The Globe hosts some intriguing festivals, “Crunch” – “Crunch Festival – thought-provoking debate, infectiously danceable music and late-night parties!” http://globeathay.org/festivals-4 Plus “HowTheLightGetsIn”, a philosophy and music festival..We’d love to be involved in one of these in the future -watch this space!
We really enjoyed our gig at St. Donats Arts Centre; with it’s interesting history ( St.Donats Castle used to be owned by William Randolph Hearst, the American Newspaper magnate that Orson Welles’ character in ‘Citizen Kane’ was based on) and medieval Tithe Barn..plus the International College…A good start for us to 2012. We’ve got plenty of up-and-coming interesting gigs this year, so keep checking the website!
